NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals will be received by Sandhills Community College up to 3:00 pm on September 25, 2025 in the conference room of McKean Service Center at 598 Lindbergh Place, Pinehurst, NC 28374, attn. Dr. D.J. Farmer, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of :

Sandhills Community College Caddell Public Services Training Center

Emergency Services Training Classroom Building

The work in this proposal includes the new construction with site improvements of a wood framed training facility in Carthage, N.C. Spaces will include classroom

& training areas, restrooms, a breakroom, as well as mechanical and storage spaces. An existing facility will be removed from the site as part of this project.

Pre-Bid Meeting

An open pre-bid meeting, MANDATORY for all General Contractors interested in bidding, will be held at 10:00 am on September 10, 2025 in the Breakthrough Building, 333 Niagara-Carthage Road, Carthage, NC 28327. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms.

The full plan deposit will be returned to those bidders provided all documents are returned in good, usable condition within ten (10) days after the bid date.
