Town of Holly Springs, North Carolina is seeking prequalification statements from qualified, experienced General Contractors for Utley Creek WRF 8 mgd Expansion. This project will be bid as a Single Prime contract. Any contractor wishing to be prequalified for the work must complete this application and be approved by the Town of Holly Springs for bidding.

Applications for Prequalification of Bidders may be obtained in electronic format only via the Town’s bid page (Bids & Requests for Proposals | Holly Springs, NC - Official Website). There is no fee to obtain the prequalification package.

Project Description: The Town is upgrading and expanding the UCWRF to have a maximum monthly design flow of 8 mgd, with provisions for future expansions. The Town selected five-stage biological nutrient removal (BNR) utilizing membrane bioreactors (MBRs) for solids removal as the basis of design for the expansion to 8 mgd. As part of the project, the existing secondary clarifiers, disk filters, and dewatering equipment will be decommissioned. The existing ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system will be refurbished by the original equipment manufacturer.

NON-MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING: Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a non- mandatory pre-proposal meeting on August 14, 2025 @ 2:00PM. Bidders may attend in-person or virtually. The in-person pre-proposal meeting will be held at Town Hall, 128 South Main Street, Holly Springs, NC 27540.
