Sealed Bids will be received until 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, conference room 303 of the Raleigh Municipal Building at, 222 W. Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of the Deck Improvement Project. The sealed proposal public opening can also be viewed via virtual meeting to limit the size of meetings. The city strongly recommends viewing the sealed proposal public opening via the virtual meeting. In addition, it is strongly recommended that each submitting firm only send one representative, if desiring to have an in-person presence. If you prefer to attend the virtual meeting, please send an email to David.bender@raleighnc.gov that includes the name and email address of the attendee(s). Invitations to the virtual meeting will go out the day of the bid opening,

After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Bid Form for the performance of the Contract.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all contractors, sub-contractors, minority and woman owned businesses will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 21, 2024, on Zoom using Meeting ID: 999 4978 1834 with Passcode: 3GkDYd. Attendees will need to be authenticated and sign into Zoom to attend the meeting. The meeting will also be recorded, and a link made available in an addendum.
