Separate sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, September 27, 2018, at One Exchange Plaza Conference Room 809, 8th Floor, 219 Fayetteville Street , Raleigh, NC 27601.

Sealed Single Prime Construction bids will be received up to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September
27, 2018. Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Raleigh at One Exchange Plaza, Conference
Room 809, 9th Floor, Raleigh, NC 27601 at which time and place Bids will be publicly opened and
read aloud for the Fire Station 11 Renovations. Bids shall be for providing labor, material and equipment entering into a Single Prime Contract for construction of the Fire Station 11 Renovation
located at 2925 Glenridge Drive, Raleigh, NC. 27604.

a) The work consists of the abatement, demotion, and renovation of an approximately 5,300 square feet fire station and associated site development. Construction of this project includes but not limited to the following trades: Site and earth work, concrete, masonry, asbestos removal, building demolition, structural steel, metal framing and drywall, roofing, interior cabinetry, flooring, painting, plumbing, mechanical and electrical.

Beginning August 28, 2018 complete printed and electronic contract documents can be purchased from Accent Imaging at (919)782-3332 or using the link provided at the IPS website. Contractors are
responsible for distributing documents to all sub-contractors.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Fire Station 11, 2925 Glenridge Drive, Raleigh, NC
27604 at 1:00 p.m. Thursday September 6, 2018.

No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids. The Owner
reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders.
