This project is being rebid due to the City not receiving a sufficient number of bids during the initial bid period.
The City of Durham will open sealed formal Bids submitted by qualified Bidders at 10:00AM on Tuesday October 26, 2022 for Contract 16866, Project: Old Chapel Hill Road at New Hope Creek Water Line Replacement at the Department of Water Management 1600 Mist Lake Drive, in Training Room A, Durham, North Carolina.
The Project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of approximately 180 LF of 12-inch RJDI water line by open cut and approx. 650 LF of 16-inch HDPE by horizontal directional drilling (HDD). The new waterline will be installed in the Right-of-Way and within City of Durham utility easement on US Army Corp of Engineer property. The project is located on Old Chapel Hill Road at the crossing of New Hope Creek. The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required.
Beginning 9:00 AM Tuesday, September 27, 2022, the Contract Documents, may be reviewed online and be obtained from Accent Imaging, 8121 Brownleigh Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617, (919) 782-3332, or at www.accentimaging.com. A hard copy of the plans, contracts, or electronic files may be obtained a nonrefundable fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus sales tax and delivery for hard copies, and digital copies for fifty dollars ($50.00) plus sales tax and delivery for digital copies only. Plans must be purchased through Accent Imaging to be on the bidders list. To be sure all bidders are kept up to date on any Addenda, changes, or information notices please send an email to Susan Sperbeck (boschwald@hiepc.com) indicating your intention to prepare a Bid for the Project. Failure to complete this step may render your Bid non-responsive.
