Sealed Bids will be received until 2pm on Thursday, July 21st, 2022, at 222 West Hargett Street, at
the front entrance to the building, Raleigh, NC 27601, at which time and place bids will be
d for the construction of the Oberlin Road Streetscape project.
The Project consists generally of the following major items:
The Oberlin Streetscape Improvements Project will install approximately 3,850 linear feet of 6-foot
wide sidewalk along Oberlin Road. The project will extend and replace existing sidewalk from the
Pullen Rd/Groveland Ave Traffic Circle on the south end to Roberts St on the north end. The
sidewalk will provide improved pedestrian connectivity by connecting sidewalks, improving
pedestrian crossings, installing street trees, public art, transit pads, roadway mill & overlay,
new pavement markings, intersection improvements (including new mast arms), and water &
sewer main replacement. Pedestrian signals design by an outside consultant will be
used to safely cross the Oberlin/Clark, Oberlin/Smallwood, and Oberlin/Cameron intersections.
