Sealed proposals will be received by the Department of Natural and Cultural resources – Parks and
Recreation, at the Morrow Mountain State Park Office located at 49104 Morrow Mountain Road,
Albemarle, NC 28001 up to 2:00 pm June 3, 2022, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read
for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of

Morrow Mountain State Park – Improvements and Renovations

Renovation of certain existing Shower Houses, Pool House, Summit Building, and existing Family
Cabins. Demolition of certain Shower Houses and removal of Kids Pool. Miscellaneous stone repair
and the addition of a Splash Yard and Camper Cabins.

Bids will be received for single prime: Category – General Construction (including Plumbing,
Mechanical, and Electrical). All proposals shall be lump sum.

An electronic copy of the contract documents (PDF) may be obtained from Accent Imaging free of
charge beginning April 12, 2022. Printed copies of the plans and specifications may be purchased
from Accent Imaging online or at (919)782-3332. The cost is not refundable. Plans may be accessed
for viewing and download at http://www.planscope.com/. Complete plans, specifications and contract
documents will be open for inspection in the offices of Huffman Architects, PA and and in the
following Minority Plan Room:
