LEE COUNTY PARKING PROJECT 4838-02R-21
GOVERNMENT CENTER PARKING LOT
AT HILLCREST DRIVE AND CARTHAGE STREET

Sealed Bids will be received by Lee County, North Carolina until Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 2:00PM
and then publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of “Lee County Parking
Projects”. The bid opening will be held at Lee County Summit Building, 408 Summit Drive, Sanford
NC.

Bids shall be for furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment as detailed on the contract
documents dated July 2021. The major project items include:
 Demolition
 Earthwork, Backfilling, and Compacting
 Drainage and Erosion Control
 Concrete Placement
 Asphalt Paving
 Landscaping
 Pavement Marking and Signage
Each Bidder shall be appropriately licensed in the State of North Carolina as provided in General
Statutes Chapter 87 and have the ability to produce evidence of experience in construction of
projects of similar size and nature. Bidders must be able to comply with all local, state, and
federal contract provisions as specified in the contract documents.

Contract documents including plans and specifications may be purchased at a cost of $50 for hard
copy sets and digital download or $25 for digital download only for bidding from the Owner’s
Engineer at the following:

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any part of a Bid, and to waive
formalities and technicalities in the Bids. The Bid shall remain subject to acceptance and not
withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
