Sealed bids should be submitted to the attention of Mr. Brent Quick, Finance Department,
Town of Holly Springs, 128 South Main Street, Holly Springs, North Carolina, 27540 and marked
“21-012 Arbor Creek Greenway”.
Bids will be received at the Town of Holly Springs, Finance Department, 128 South Main
Street, Holly Springs, N.C. until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
The public opening will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., at which time the BIDS
will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom Meeting.
The project is generally described as follows:
The project generally includes approximately 2.8 total miles of trail construction, consisting of
new 10-foot-wide trial construction (10-foot wide asphalt/stone with 2-foot stone shoulders), 1
pedestrian bridge, 3 boardwalks, 1 parking area, and the associated clearing, drainage, erosion
control, traffic control, and signage.
Plans, Specifications, and Contract documents may be seen on the Town’s website at
www.hollyspringsnc.us (available for download), and at the following electronic plan rooms:
Carolina Plan Room, Carolina AGC, iSqFt, Planscope.com (Accent Imaging), Bidclerk, Construct
Connect, NC Institute of Minority Economic Development (NCIMED); documents may be obtained after
March 31, 2021 at the Town of Holly Springs, Engineering Department, Holly Springs, North
Carolina upon non-refundable payment of $200.00 per set in cash or check. Postage and handling
charge of $25.00 will be added for any items which are mailed.
REQUIRED: Plan holders are required to sign up for “Construction Bids” notifications at
www.hollyspringsnc.us/bids.aspx for further project notifications/addenda.

Notice to proceed will be issued once permits are obtained and property acquisition is
complete. Currently it is anticipated that a Notice to Proceed will be issued by October 1, 2021
however, this date may change during the permitting and property acquisition process.
A pre-bid meeting for explanation of the project requirements will be conducted at 10:00
a.m. on April 7, 2021 do via Zoom Meeting.
