City Hall Improvements & Renovations
The Bid Opening will be held at 3:00 PM at City Hall, 2nd floor courtroom. At that time and place bids will be opened and read. The Bid Opening will be live streamed via Zoom.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at City Hall. Due to COVID-19, the meeting times for the Pre-Bid will be staggered and tentatively scheduled with interested bidders Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Hobbs Architects will coordinate the meeting and escort the attendees. Masks are required for attendance. The address of the Office is 311 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC 27344.
Mailed or hand delivered bids prior to the bid date must be labeled to reflect the Town of Siler City

The interior work encompasses Phased renovations to portions of the 3-level (+/- 12,100 SF) building. Work items include selective demolition, new walls, elevator modifications, new finishes, and new or modified P.M. E. systems. Exterior improvements include new sidewalks, modified parking areas, and a new rear entrance with ADA lift. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Bid will be for General Construction Single Prime Bids only.

The full plan deposit will be returned to those bidders provided all documents are returned in good, usable condition within ten (10) days after the bid date.
