Sealed Bids will be received in person or via email until 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at
Raleigh Water Capital Improvements Division Attn: Todd Toler P.O. Box 590, One Exchange Plaza, Suite 620, Raleigh, NC 27601, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of the Lake Woodard Annex Renovations project. Instructions for emailed bids will be issued at the pre-bid conference.
After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria
set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any
informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Bid Form for the performance of the Contract.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held but all prospective bidders are required to attend. The
Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00 PM on June 9, 2020 via a virtual meeting. If you would like to attend the virtual pre-bid meeting, please send an email to dcarey@hh- arch.com by 5:00 PM THE DAY PRIOR to the scheduled pre-bid conference. In the Pre-Bid Conference email request, please include the name and email address of the attendee(s). Invitations to the virtual meeting will go out the day of the pre-bid meeting. Requirements for pre-bid submittals of an “or-equal” are required within 10 days of the issuance of the advertisement for Bids and in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders.
The Project consists generally of the following major items:
The Work of Project: Scope the interior renovation of approximately 3,500 SF of the south wing of
the second floor. The scope includes replacing interior finishes. Associated mechanical and
electrical work is included.
Bidding Documents may be examined at Architect’s office and at: ConstructConnect, online; McGraw
Hill Dodge Company, online; Construction Journal, online; and NC Institute of Minority Economic
Development (a.k.a. The Institute), online.

477-0755 fax after May 27, 2020. A refundable plan deposit of one hundred dollars ($100.00) in
cash, check payable to Accent Imaging, or credit card is required for each set. Contractor will be
required to pay for all shipping.
